KIFF PARTNERS WITH CINÉ SCHOOLS

KIFF is delighted to announce our Partnership with Ciné Schools, who continue to grow their grassroots work providing primary school children the opportunity to make films. This alliance strengthens our position as a festival determined to be a premier platform for discovering remarkable new and diverse British talent. Along with Ciné Schools, we believe that talent can reveal itself at any age. As part of the festival, we will be hosting workshops for 8-11 year olds, and showcasing their talents with a screening at the Kingston Odeon.

Ciné Schools has been working in South West London for nearly three years, providing primary educators with a Film Club that inspires young people between the ages of 8 and 11 to make exciting and original films.

“Film is an incredible platform for a huge variety of creative talents. The safe, communal space we create provides a launchpad for children to express themselves behind or in front of the camera. Working with the Kingston International Film Festival will enable us to bring film to even more children and showcase their talents in the most exciting ways possible,” George Young, Founder of Ciné Schools.
